Educational Material Distribution to Students through Satkar Gramin Foundation, Raigad
On Friday, 01/08/2025, at Raigad Zilla Parishad School, Usarghar Wadi, Lonavare Center, Taluka Mangaon, District Raigad, educational materials were distributed to school students through Satkar Gramin Foundation, Raigad, with the support of young entrepreneur Mr. Rohan Salvi.The distributed materials included notebooks, drawing books, pens, pencils, sketch pens, compass boxes, and various other school essentials.The event was graced by the presence of young entrepreneur Mr. Rohan Salvi, Satkar Gramin Foundation, Raigad’s founder Mr. Jitu Bhai Pawar, secretary Mr. Rakesh Salvi, Poladpur Taluka President Mr. Pravin Sonawane, Mahad Taluka President Mr. Aditya Mohite, members Mr. Rohan Bhau Salvi (Goregaon), Mr. Siddharth Sonawane, Mr. Navneet Salvi, and other dignitaries.
On the occasion of the 98th Chavdar Tale Satyagraha Day on March 20, 2025, a special gathering was held at the historic site of Mahad. The event was graced by Mr. Ashish Bhai Jadhav, Founder and President of the Bhim Panther Bahujan Sanstha, who had arrived with his dedicated followers from Kasheli Kalher, Bhiwandi (Thane District). A community meal (sneh bhojan) was organized through the efforts of Mr. Jitubhai Pawar, Founder and President of Satkar Gramin Foundation, along with all his associates.As a mark of respect and appreciation, Mr. Ashish Bhai Jadhav and all the Bhim Sainiks honored the President and all office bearers of Satkar Gramin Foundation by presenting them with a replica of the Indian Constitution.
On March 8, 2025, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, we pay our humble tribute to the revered memories of Rajmata Jijau, Savitribai Phule, Mata Ramai, and Mata Bhimai.To mark this special day, a free saree distribution program was organized for the tribal women at Varachi Adivasi Wadi, Post Nandavi, Taluka Mangaon, District Raigad. The event was sponsored by Satkar Gramin Foundation, Raigad, and was successfully conducted by women’s organizer Supriya Ambetkar and Nitesh Purarkar. Here are some glimpses of the event. On February 19, 2025, on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, Satkar Gramin Foundation Raigad organized a fruit distribution program at Gramin Hospital Trauma Care Center, Mahad. Fruits were distributed to patients in the women’s ward and general ward, and special interactions were held with the women in the maternity ward to inquire about their health. This noble initiative was graced by the presence of Mr. Bajrang Mohite, Navi Mumbai President of Satkar Gramin Foundation Raigad, and Mr. Shahabaz Sheikh, Mahad Taluka Secretary. Additionally, Mr. Jitu Bhai Pawar and Mr. Rakesh Salvi, the key leaders of the foundation, were also present. Other dignitaries in attendance included Mr. Sunil Bhai Mohite, Treasurer Mr. Nitesh Purarkar, Secretary Mr. Pravin Sonawane, Working President Mr. Aditya Mohite, Joint Secretary Mr. Lavesh Salvi, and members Mr. Gauresh Gorengavkar, Mr. Arbaaz Sheikh, Mr. Aditya Raju Mohite, and Mr. Subhash Jadhav.A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this initiative successful. 🙏🙏🙏💐💐💐
On 26th January 2025, Satkar Gramin Foundation Raigad organized a free meal distribution program at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Hostel, Valang, Taluka – Mahad, Raigad, for the hostel students. The event was attended by esteemed members of the organization, including Mr. Aditya Mohite, Mr. Rakesh Salvi, Mr. Lavesh Salvi, Mr. Jitubhai Pawar, Mr. Pravin Sonawane, Mr. Nitesh Purarkar, Mr. Shahabad Sheikh, and Mr. Gauresh Goregaonkar. Also present were the foundation’s Working President and School Principal, Mr. Kurudkar, along with Mr. Dipesh Jadhav, Mr. Gaikwad, non-teaching staff, and hostel employees. On the occasion of Republic Day, students were treated to sweets and enjoyed the meal, while the chief guests offered their guidance and extended warm Republic Day greetings.
The Satkar Gramin Foundation, Raigad (NGO), organized a free health camp at the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha’s New English School in Turbhe, Poladpur Taluka, which was conducted with great enthusiasm. The camp benefited the residents of Turbhe and nearby areas, including women and the elderly, with around 120 people availing its services. Medical officers Dr. Gulabrao Sonawane and Dr. Sharad Gutte contributed to the camp. Services included neck, back, and knee support belts, blood pressure checks, diabetes tests, BMI assessments, nutritional evaluations, medical consultations for various ailments, and free medicine distribution.The initiative received immense gratitude and best wishes from the villagers, who expressed hopes for the foundation’s continued efforts. Key contributors to the program included school principal Mr. Mangesh Utekar, Mr. Salvi, Mr. Sarkate, Mr. Sheth, Mr. Rajesh Salvi, Mr. Deepak Utekar, Mr. Prakash More, Mr. Praveen Sonawane, Mr. Jeetu Bhai Pawar, Mr. Nitesh Purarkar, Mr. Aditya Mohite, Mr. Rakesh Salvi, and Mr. Lavesh Salvi.
On December 25, 2024, on the occasion of Manusmriti Dahan Day, a tribute was paid to the great leader, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, at Kranti Bhumi, Mahad. Free meals were arranged for the visiting Bhim followers by the Satkar Gramin Foundation, Raigad, under the guidance of Chief Advisor Mr. Prakash More. Over 700 Bhim followers were served free meals, along with water distribution.The event was graced by the presence of Praveen Sonawane, Nitesh Purarkar, Rakesh Salve, Prakash More, Suresh Kadam, Rohan Salvi, Santosh Kasare, Jitu Pawar, and others. Their dedicated efforts ensured the success of the program. On behalf of the foundation, Rakesh Salve extended heartfelt thanks to everyone.
On behalf of Satkar Gramin Foundation Raigad under the chairmanship of Mahad Taluka President Aditya Mohite a blanket distribution program was conducted at Swarajya Nivara Vriddhashram Rajewadi Mahad Raigad. There are a total of 30 elderly people, 20 are women and 10 are men. Most of the women are mental patients and 6 are men. The institution is maintained by Mr. Aniket Tambe. Thanking Satkar Grameen Foundation very much, he wished us to get similar help from now on to all the office bearers of Satkar Grameen Foundation.
